Building Supporter Segmentations for Barnardo's

We partnered with Barnardo’s to develop a new segmentation of supporters and potential supporters, based on attitudes towards the needs and experiences of children and young people.We sized and segmented their audience, before a qual deep dive to really understand them in detail and develop actionable guidance on how to engage them and where to reach them.
Through collaborative workshops across teams and agencies, the segmentation was fully embedded and now sits at the heart of Barnardo’s audience strategy, driving more focused, effective outreach.
Impact:
A robust, organisation‑wide segmentation that empowers Barnardo’s to target audiences more strategically; and was so effective that the commissioned us to create another segmentation shortly after for their foster care team.
