We spoke with disabled athletes, people unable to participate in sport, and those using amplification technology to understand what ability looks like today - and what it could become.

Through global depth interviews and conversations with innovators, academics and creators, we explored both the lived reality of disability and the fast‑moving world of human amplification.

Their stories revealed the barriers that still shut people out, as well as the huge possibilities when design keeps pace with people’s needs and aspirations.

These insights are now shaping Nike’s long‑term strategy on how to support, include and champion every kind of athlete.
