We are finalists in the MRS Awards 2025!
We are so proud to have been shortlisted as finalists for x2 MRS awards!
1. Inclusive Research (MRSpride Award) for our work with Women in Sport
We collaborated with Women in Sport to explore Black girls’ relationship with sport. Speaking to professionals who regularly work with Black girls and Black girls themselves, we were able to understand more about what could be driving the gap between their positive attitudes towards sport yet lower engagement in it compared to peers. Ultimately helping us advise on how we might re-engage Black girls with a part of life that so many of them love.

2. Public policy / Social Research award for our work with Trussell & WPI Economics
This project was about understanding the impact of deep poverty on individuals and society at large. We conducted the qualitative arm of this work around understanding the human cost of hardship, while WPI Economics undertook the economic modelling element which aimed to quantify the societal and economic costs of deep poverty – alongside the economic benefits if certain changes are made. Both strands worked together to provide robust evidence on the case for change, and the policy solutions needed to tackle the problem.

Every project we work on is important to us, so it’s great to be recognised in this way. Well done and good luck to all the other amazing MRS finalists!
