Life In A Pandemic

Since April, Humankind Research has been participating in Not Everyday Life, a global research project aiming to understand lived experience throughout the pandemic.

Through the months of April, May and June we conducted a series of in-depth interviews with participants across the UK. Each participant was interviewed on three separate occasions, to understand how their experiences evolved over time.

We’ve put together a summary of our key findings, including:

  • The vast discrepancies in lived experience, response and perceived threat across the UK
  • The unifying tensions and shifts that many are grappling with, each with significant implications for brands & charities
  • The key questions we believe we need to keep asking and exploring in order to truly understand enduring behaviour change
