The warmest welcome

Happy new year! We hope you’ve had a wonderful break. We’re so happy to have had several brilliant people join the team in the last few months. As we begin a brand new year, we wanted to introduce them and give them a warm Humankind welcome. Over to Amy, Sherjeel, Shyma and Honor!

Amy, Project Manager

I’ve been with Humankind for 4 months now and am really enjoying working with this fabulous, friendly team of talented people! The work is so interesting and it’s great to be involved with projects and clients that really matter. My background is varied across field management, ops, data collection and even setting up and running a viewing facility, but I always come back to project management. Outside of work I mostly run around after my children and dogs and have recently started playing tennis in an attempt to find some me time!

Sherjeel, Researcher

I recently joined Humankind as a Researcher while I complete my BSc degree in Fashion Management. Humankind has given me an opportunity to explore new territories and introduced me to new ways of thinking. I previously worked in insights at Nike, so this experience has really helped consolidate what I learnt there, whilst introducing me to a breadth of impactful work helping shape the future. I can’t wait to see where this new journey takes me!

Shyma, Project Director

I joined Humankind Research from Thinks Insight & Strategy where I delivered large-scale public dialogues on topics like net zero, education, health, and data & technology. I really believe in the potential for participatory research to drive social change. I’m looking forward to contributing to Humankind’s exciting and impactful work really homing in on the questions that matter, with the participants they matter most to, at the heart of inclusive research design – and to working with a brilliant team!

Honor, Project Director

I recently joined Humankind Research from the British Heart Foundation's customer insight team, where I gained a good understanding of the charity world. This experience has set me up nicely to take on the quantitative element of our current Just Giving work and Humankind's proprietary Audience Update project. As a researcher, I enjoy getting to the bottom of complex questions and uncovering insights that really make a difference. Outside of work, you can find me doing anything crafty or trying to perfect my sourdough loaf.
